WRITE A LIST OF PEOPLE THAT INSPIRE YOU

  • Sophia Adzoa Moore - DETERMINATION
    • Sophia is a disabled dancer with hEDS and other physical health conditions. She became my inspiration to never give up and showed me that I could carry on with my teaching career even after my recent hEDS diagnosis.
      • Sophia is teaching me that hEDS does not mean it's over, it means I need to adapt and learn how to now use my body to support recovery, reduced pain and progress.
      • I have been more confidently using my crutch in public which has given me more energy and reduced my overall pain and flare ups.
  • Serena Neel - COMMUNITY
    • Serena is a TikToker that I have recently found that documents various parts of her life on TikTok but also is very thoughtful and caring to her community and postmen. She has a fridge, vending machine and grabber for her postmen and give them treats to say thank you. Recently I have watched her visit fire stations to deliver 40 pizzas around valentines day and fill suitcases with baby and dog food for food banks. Her thought and care for others and the community are inspiring.
      • Serena is teaching me to be more open and aware to the community around me.
      • I am holding a charity campaign as part of our July show to support homeless people within our area.
  • Ricky Jinks - STEPPING OUT OF COMFORT ZONE
    • As a teacher and choreographer that is working to improve and take my choreography up a level for this years show I have been watching various choreographers and dances to inspire this next level and I have found Ricky Jinks choreography just completely magical and it has motivated me to push my choreography further.
      • Ricky inspires me to keep thinking outside the box and always keep progressing my creative side.
      • I have been encouraged by Ricky Jinks this year with my choreography, using one of his pieces for inspiration and it has really pushed me and my dancers out of their comfort zone.
  • Rosina Andrews - BALANCE
    • Rosina Andrews is an incredible dance educator and teacher. She runs teacher training programmes, teaches at dance schools and now has two young children. She shows how you can have balance, creativity and also a family life whilst still following your dreams. I also love her approach to teaching older children and have implemented a lot of her methods into my teaching.
      • Rosina encourages me to work on balance and confidence in thinking about my personal future.
      • I have had deeper conversations with my partner about what the future looks like and the road map to getting there.
  • Louise Brough - TRAVEL
    • Louise owns a dance school in Scotland and also coaches multiple dance schools whilst living in Dubai, she shows that you can run a successful business whilst living your dream and being in a different country.
      • Similarly to Rosina, Louise encourages me to work on balance and confidence in thinking about my personal future and what I want whilst maintaining my businesses.
      • I have had deeper conversations with my partner about what the future looks like and the road map to getting there.
  • Lukas Mcfarlane - INSPIRING
    • Lukas Mcfarlane has been a dancer that has inspired me since I was a young age. When I was a teen, he encountered an injury that took him a long time to recover and I was lucky enough to be at his first performance post injury and it always inspired me to never give up when injury occurred and always keep pushing to get back to dance again.
      • Similarly to Sophia, Lukas inspires me to keep fighting when theres injury.
      • I have continued to teach (but pace) through multiple hospital appointments and spinal injections - telling myself not to give up.
  • James Arthur - CREATIVE
    • I have followed James Arthur since his X-Factor audition and what a journey it has been! He is an inspiration that he has come from nothing and is now selling out arenas year after year. His music has continuously developed and I saw him this week (18.02.2026) and this tour was the best one yet - seeing his creative side grow and grow is inspiring.
      • James Arthur inspires me to never give up and always strive for better.
      • I have continued to strive for more and be better for myself.
  • Gordon  Burcham - MOTIVATIONAL
    • Gordon was a motivational speaker at an event I attended in 2022. Since then I have followed him on Facebook and he has been posting his progress with ice baths over the past year and a bit. The other day I saw a post when he was unwell saying that although he was unwell he has not missed one since he started, including being on holiday and Christmas Day.
      • Gordon inspires me to focus on mental health, positivity and determination.
      • I am working on myself and taking time to focus on me and what I need.

My Heroes in order of the list from left to right.

Celebrate a non-fictional hero in a public way

In February I attended my 20th James Arthur concert.

We took part in the fan project to support James which involved cutting Blue Love Hearts and writing messages on them to hold up during an emotional song "Train Wreck".

After the concert I also made a TikTok post about how much he means to me and why, which has had some wonderful love from the JArmy community on it.
